Paula is doing a (solo) reading from her new poetry book, “Tossing Off the Gloves,” Wednesday, January 8th, 2014, at 8 p.m. at Barron Arts Center, 582 Rahway Avenue, Woodbridge, NJ. Prior to her reading that evening, she will teach a poetry workshop, “From My Childhood Trunk,” at 7 p.m. All are welcome. After her reading, she will be available to sign books, and the program continues with an open read for poets.

The Blueberry Girl Book Reading at the 30th Annual Whitesbog Blueberry Festival
Visit me tomorrow, Saturday, June 29th at the annual Whitesbog Blueberry Festival, 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Whitesbog General Store. I’m doing an illustrated “storytelling,” interactive program for kids (and their lucky parents!) about the remarkable girl, Elizabeth C. White, who changed the world of blueberries.
Tossing Off the Gloves Book Signing on April 20th in Asbury Park
I will be doing a book signing for the “debut” of my new poetry book, “Tossing Off The Gloves”, on April 20th at the Asbury Park Bookfest, at the SHOPPES at the Arcade, 658 Cookman Avenue, and words! Book Store at 612 Cookman Avenue, Asbury, 1-4 p.m. along with 30 other authors. Many literary and film events available on that day for all to enjoy. Part of the proceeds for the day will go to Mary’s Place in Ocean Grove, a retreat for women battling cancer, where I teach journal writing workshops.

Paula will be visiting the West Dover Elementary School, Grades K-5, in Toms River, NJ on March 4th to present “The Blueberry Girl. How the Wild Huckleberry of South Jersey Was Tamed! The Story of Elizabeth Coleman White.” A fun and interactive program.
