Journaling workshops will be taking place at Mary’s Place, Ocean Grove in October, November and December, 2018.

Attending writer’s conference: October 5, 2018, in Red Bank,NJ, an intensive workshop for authors on writing and publishing with literary agent, Marisa A. Corvisiero, and key industry professionals, agents and editors.

*Reading and book signing for “The Blueberry Girl” at Apple Festival at Allaire State Park, 4263 Atlantic Ave., Farmingdale NJ  11am-4pm.  Telling Ms. Lizzie’s story, serving up blueberries, writing blueberry poems with children.   My book available at Allaire’s General Store.

I taught a journal writing session on Friday for four remarkable women at Mary’s Place in Ocean Grove. Our prompt was one if my favorites, write about ” MY MOTHER’S KITCHEN,” (or Grandma’s kitchen) using a spice, something green, etc., etc. and we used herbs I’d picked from my garden that morning to give our pieces additional flavor. These women are so real and authentic; thanks to Blanche, Gilda, Grace and Pamela, all so talented and filled with good humor, too.

Teaching another journal writing class tomorrow at Mary’s Place. Soon our guests will be able to get out for long walks along Ocean Grove boardwalk! Maybe we’ll write about nature and spring tomorrow.
